Verve commissioned by Discovery to Make Mountaineering Film - 22 Mar 2012

Verve has been commissioned by the Discovery Channel to follow student mountaineer Geordie Stewart across the globe as he attempts an extraordinary challenge. Since he was a teenager, Geordie has been fired by a hugely ambitious dream - to climb the highest mountain in each of the world’s seven continents. The documentary will be broadcast later in the year.

Geordie will constantly be pushed to the very limits of survival on his  pioneering adventure, from the mind numbingly cold temperatures of Mount Vinson in Antarctica to the swamp-like conditions of Carstensz in New Guinea.

And then will come the greatest test of all, as Geordie attempts to complete his seven summit dream, by climbing the highest and most famous mountain in the world – Everest.

The documentary will be presented by James Cracknell.
