Verve wins gold medal at New York TV Awards - 19 April 2016

Verve's  documentary Filming My Father: In Life and Death has won top prize at the New York Film Festival’s World’s Best TV and Film.

Competing with programmes from over 50 countries, it  has won the top prize - a gold medal -  in its category – Documentary Social Concerns.

Rose Anderson,  executive director of the awards, described the film as “outstanding”.
