Liz Tucker Hosts WFTV Reception at Cannes - 17 May 2019

The  72nd Cannes Film Festival  took place from 14 to 25 May. The Mexican filmmaker Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu served as jury president and the Palme d'Or went to the South Korean film Parasite.

Women in Film and TV attended the festival and  ran two events. The first event was a drinks reception at the UK Pavilion which more than 300 international guests attended. Liz Tucker gave a speech welcoming all the guests to the drinks party and it was a chance for the WFTV team and members to meet with filmmakers across the world.

Then on the first Sunday of the festival, WFTV ran a VIP brunch aboard the Coutts yacht. This more intimate space gave everyone a change to relax after the exertations of the festival.

This was folllowed by an IMDb drinks reception and  VIP dinner that Liz attended.

WFTV's attendance at the festival was supported by Sergeant Disc and  IMDb.
