Screen Yorkshire's Sally Joynson and WFTV's Liz Tucker welcome new Leeds members

 
As part of Women in Film and TV's  commitment to developing regional events across the UK, tonight saw the launch of its new events hub in Leeds. 

For the inaugural event, WFTV held a drink's reception in central Leeds which was attended by women from all over the region. The evening's guests were welcomed to the event by Screen Yorkshire’s Chief Executive Sally Joynson and Chair and Acting CEO of WFTV LIz Tucker.

The event was set up with the assistance of   Barbara Govan and Lauren York,  WFTV's reps in Leeds. A further event in Leeds with the writer and  director Sally Waiinwright is already booked. 

Further regional hubs are planned across the UK, including in Cardiff and Bristol.
