Industry leaders join WFTV Pat Llewellyn Bursary Committee - 13 January 2021

 
Women in Film and TV has announced that Fiona Campbell, Controller of BBC Three; Kate Townsend, Director, Original Documentary, Netflix; Kelly Webb-Lamb, Deputy Director of Programmes, Channel 4; Tim Whitwell, Creative Director, Shine TV and  Pat Younge, MD Cardiff Productions are joining the WFTV Pat Llewellyn Bursary Fund Committee.
 

The WFTV Pat Llewellyn Bursary fund is an innovative development fund for TV proposals which is open to all women, regardless of their level of experience.

 

Jane Root, Founder & CEO, Nutopia; Sue Murphy, Head of Factual Entertainment; and Liz Tucker, Chair of WFTV and the PL Committee remain in post.

 

Fiona Campbell said: “I am delighted to be joining the committee, as it gets tougher and tougher for filmmakers getting development funding, this fund offers incredibly valuable financial support”.

 

Kelly Webb-Lamb said: "Pat was an incredibly talented producer who developed so many award winning and critically acclaimed shows, so this fund provides a really valuable way of continuing Pat's creative legacy". 

 

Liz Tucker said: “I am so grateful to Fiona, Kate, Kelly, Tim and Pat for sparing the time to join the committee and I’m really look forward to working with them and discovering new creative and compelling onscreen talent led ideas”.
